महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-114, verse-1

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
संवत्सराहिते गर्भे गान्धार्या जनमेजय ।
आह्वयामास वै कुन्ती गर्भार्थं धर्ममच्युतम् ॥१॥
1. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
saṁvatsarāhite garbhe gāndhāryā janamejaya ,
āhvayāmāsa vai kuntī garbhārthaṁ dharmamacyutam.

1. Vaiśampāyana said: O Janamejaya, when a year had passed with Gāndhārī having conceived, Kuntī indeed invoked the unwavering deity Dharma (dharma) for the purpose of conceiving.
