योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-200, verse-54

यत्संभृतमनन्तेन जन्मदोषेण नो मलम् ।
तत्प्रमृष्टं त्वयेहाद्य हेम्नामिव हविर्भुजा ॥ ५४ ॥
yatsaṃbhṛtamanantena janmadoṣeṇa no malam ,
tatpramṛṣṭaṃ tvayehādya hemnāmiva havirbhujā 54
54. yat saṃbhṛtam anantena janmadoṣeṇa naḥ malam tat
pramṛṣṭam tvayā iha adya hemnām iva havirbhujā
54. he adya iha anantena janmadoṣeṇa naḥ yat malam
saṃbhṛtam tat tvayā havirbhujā hemnām iva pramṛṣṭam
54. The impurity which we accumulated due to endless (ananta) defects of repeated birth (saṃsāra) has been completely cleansed by you here today, just as gold is purified by fire.
