पातुं त्वमेव जानासि राज्यं भाति तवैव च ।
भवत्वेतत्तवैवेह ब्राह्मणाः क्व महीभृतः ॥ ३६ ॥

pātuṃ tvameva jānāsi rājyaṃ bhāti tavaiva ca ,
bhavatvetattavaiveha brāhmaṇāḥ kva mahībhṛtaḥ 36

36. pātum tvam eva jānāsi rājyam bhāti tava eva ca
bhavatu etat tava eva iha brāhmaṇāḥ kva mahībhṛtaḥ

36. tvam eva rājyam pātum jānāsi ca tava eva bhāti
etat iha tava eva bhavatu brāhmaṇāḥ mahībhṛtaḥ kva

36. You alone know how to protect this kingdom, and it truly belongs to you. Let this be yours alone here. What business do Brahmins have with royal power?
