In that ultimate reality (which is itself motionless), this splendor of the world (jagat-lakṣmī) appears as if arising within motion (saspande) and not within stillness (niḥspanda-antargate), just as the illusion of a circle (cakratā) appears in a twirling firebrand (alāta).
