हर्षामर्षभयोन्मुक्तः स जीवन्मुक्त उच्यते ॥ ११ ॥

saḥ yaḥ yasmāt lokaḥ na udvijate,
ca lokāt na udvijate,
harṣa-amarṣa-bhaya-unmuktaḥ,
jīvanmuktaḥ ucyate.

11.
A person by whom the world (loka) is not agitated, and who is not agitated by the world, and who is completely free (unmukta) from joy (harṣa), impatience (amarṣa), and fear (bhaya), is declared to be liberated while living (jīvanmukta).
