योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-21, verse-50

शुद्धैकसत्त्वनिर्माणं चिद्रूपस्यैव तत्किल ।
प्रतिभानमतस्तस्मात्परस्म्वाद्भिद्यते मनाक् ॥ ५० ॥
śuddhaikasattvanirmāṇaṃ cidrūpasyaiva tatkila ,
pratibhānamatastasmātparasmvādbhidyate manāk 50
50. śuddhaikasattvanirmāṇam cidrūpasya eva tat kila |
pratibhānam ataḥ tasmāt parasmāt bhidyate manāk ||
50. tat kila śuddhaikasattvanirmāṇam,
cidrūpasya eva pratibhānam ataḥ tasmāt parasmāt manāk bhidyate
50. That (creation), which is a manifestation of pure singular being (sattva) and of the nature of consciousness (cit), therefore differs slightly from the supreme (reality).
