योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-21, verse-22

कार्य च कारणं चैव कारणैः सहकारिभिः ।
कार्यकारणयोरैक्यात्तदभावान्न शाम्यति ॥ २२ ॥
kārya ca kāraṇaṃ caiva kāraṇaiḥ sahakāribhiḥ ,
kāryakāraṇayoraikyāttadabhāvānna śāmyati 22
22. kāryam ca kāraṇam ca eva kāraṇaiḥ sahakāribhiḥ
kāryakāraṇayoḥ aikyāt tat abhāvāt na śāmyati
22. kāryam ca kāraṇam ca eva sahakāribhiḥ kāraṇaiḥ (yuktam asti) kāryakāraṇayoḥ aikyāt,

22. Both the effect and the cause, along with their cooperative causes, exist. Due to the oneness (aikya) of cause and effect, and because of the non-existence of a truly separate effect (tad-abhāvāt), (the worldly process) does not cease.
