यावदन्यत्समादत्त्ते स वपुष्मान्वरायुधम् ।
तावच्छरेण तं विद्ध्वा दमो भूमावपातयत् ॥५७॥

While that mighty (opponent) was taking up another excellent weapon, Dama, having pierced him with an arrow, struck him down to the ground.
