मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-130, verse-53

तस्मिन्हते महानन्दे प्राचुर्येण पराङ्मुखाः ।
बभूवुः पार्थिवास्तस्थौ वपुष्मान्कुण्डिनाधिपः ॥५३॥

53. When Mahānanda was killed, most of the kings turned away and fled. But the strong-bodied lord of Kuṇḍina stood firm.
