महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-36, verse-40

उषित्वा च महाभागास्तस्मिन्सत्रे यथाविधि ।
निवृत्ते नैमिषेये वै सत्रे द्वादशवार्षिके ।
आजग्मुरृषयस्तत्र बहवस्तीर्थकारणात् ॥४०॥
40. uṣitvā ca mahābhāgāstasminsatre yathāvidhi ,
nivṛtte naimiṣeye vai satre dvādaśavārṣike ,
ājagmurṛṣayastatra bahavastīrthakāraṇāt.

vai satre dvādaśavārṣike ājagmuḥ

40. And after those highly esteemed ones had resided in that (Vedic ritual) (sattra) according to the prescribed rites, when the twelve-year (Vedic ritual) (sattra) in Naimiṣa had concluded, many sages came there for the purpose of visiting holy sites.
