महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-36, verse-3

तच्चाप्युपस्पृश्य बलः सरस्वत्यां महाबलः ।
सुभूमिकं ततोऽगच्छत्सरस्वत्यास्तटे वरे ॥३॥
3. taccāpyupaspṛśya balaḥ sarasvatyāṁ mahābalaḥ ,
subhūmikaṁ tato'gacchatsarasvatyāstaṭe vare.
3. tat ca api upaspṛśya balaḥ sarasvatyām mahābalaḥ
subhūmikam tataḥ agacchat sarasvatyāḥ taṭe vare
3. mahābalaḥ balaḥ tat ca api sarasvatyām upaspṛśya
tataḥ sarasvatyāḥ vare taṭe subhūmikam agacchat
3. After bathing in that (water) of the Sarasvatī, the mighty Bala (Bala) then went from there to Subhūmika, situated on the excellent bank of the Sarasvatī.
