महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-36, verse-30

यत्र पन्नगराजस्य वासुकेः संनिवेशनम् ।
महाद्युतेर्महाराज बहुभिः पन्नगैर्वृतम् ।
यत्रासन्नृषयः सिद्धाः सहस्राणि चतुर्दश ॥३०॥
30. yatra pannagarājasya vāsukeḥ saṁniveśanam ,
mahādyutermahārāja bahubhiḥ pannagairvṛtam ,
yatrāsannṛṣayaḥ siddhāḥ sahasrāṇi caturdaśa.

30. O great king, this was the dwelling of the greatly radiant Vasuki, the king of serpents, surrounded by many other serpents. It was also the place where fourteen thousand sages and perfected beings (siddha) resided.
