महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-36, verse-31

यत्र देवाः समागम्य वासुकिं पन्नगोत्तमम् ।
सर्वपन्नगराजानमभ्यषिञ्चन्यथाविधि ।
पन्नगेभ्यो भयं तत्र विद्यते न स्म कौरव ॥३१॥
31. yatra devāḥ samāgamya vāsukiṁ pannagottamam ,
sarvapannagarājānamabhyaṣiñcanyathāvidhi ,
pannagebhyo bhayaṁ tatra vidyate na sma kaurava.

31. O Kaurava, where the gods, having assembled, duly consecrated Vasuki, who is the foremost of serpents and the king of all serpents, there was no fear for the serpents (pannaga).
