महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-36, verse-34

तत्रस्थानृषिसंघांस्तानभिवाद्य हलायुधः ।
ततो रामोऽगमत्तीर्थमृषिभिः सेवितं महत् ॥३४॥
34. tatrasthānṛṣisaṁghāṁstānabhivādya halāyudhaḥ ,
tato rāmo'gamattīrthamṛṣibhiḥ sevitaṁ mahat.
34. tatrasthān ṛṣisaṃghān tān abhivādya halāyudhaḥ
tataḥ rāmaḥ agamat tīrtham ṛṣibhiḥ sevitaṃ mahat
34. halāyudhaḥ tatra-sthān tān ṛṣisaṃghān abhivādya
tataḥ rāmaḥ ṛṣibhiḥ sevitaṃ mahat tīrtham agamat
34. Halāyudha, having greeted those groups of sages (ṛṣisaṃgha) who resided there, then Rama went to the great sacred bathing place (tīrtha) that was revered by sages (ṛṣi).
