महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-148, verse-34

दीप्यमाना महोल्केव तिष्ठत्यस्य हि वासवी ।
त्वदर्थं हि महाबाहो रौद्ररूपं बिभर्ति च ॥३४॥
34. dīpyamānā maholkeva tiṣṭhatyasya hi vāsavī ,
tvadarthaṁ hi mahābāho raudrarūpaṁ bibharti ca.

| tvad-artham hi mahābāho raudrarūpam bibharti ca
34. mahābāho,

34. Indeed, his (Karna's) Vāsavī (Śakti weapon) stands shining like a great meteor. And, O mighty-armed one (Arjuna), for your sake, it assumes a terrifying form.
