महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-141, verse-52

अप्राप्तामेव तां शक्तिं त्रिधा चिच्छेद कौरवः ।
पश्यतः सर्वलोकस्य भीमस्य च महात्मनः ॥५२॥
52. aprāptāmeva tāṁ śaktiṁ tridhā ciccheda kauravaḥ ,
paśyataḥ sarvalokasya bhīmasya ca mahātmanaḥ.

52. The Kuru warrior (Duryodhana) cut that power (śakti) into three pieces even before it reached him, as all the people and the great-souled Bhīma watched.
