महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-141, verse-1

संजय उवाच ।
भूरिस्तु समरे राजञ्शैनेयं रथिनां वरम् ।
आपतन्तमपासेधत्प्रपानादिव कुञ्जरम् ॥१॥
1. saṁjaya uvāca ,
bhūristu samare rājañśaineyaṁ rathināṁ varam ,
āpatantamapāsedhatprapānādiva kuñjaram.

varam āpatantam apāshedhat prapānāt iva kuñjaram

1. Saṃjaya said: "But, O King, in battle Bhūriśravas repelled Śaineya, the foremost of charioteers, who was rushing forward, just as an elephant is repelled from a watering-place."
