15. tiṣṭha tiṣṭha na me jīvandroṇaputra gamiṣyasi ,

yuddhaśraddhāmahaṁ te'dya vineṣyāmi raṇājire.

droṇaputra,
tiṣṭha tiṣṭha! me jīvan na gamiṣyasi.
eṣa aham adya tvā skandarāṭ mahiṣam iva haniṣyāmi.

15.
Stop, stop, son of Droṇa, you shall not leave here alive from me! Today I shall kill you, just as Skandarāja (Kartikeya) slew the buffalo demon (mahiṣa). Today I shall destroy your eagerness for battle (yuddhaśraddhā) on the battlefield (raṇājira).
