महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-115, verse-50

परिखा खन्यतामत्र ममावसदने नृपाः ।
उपासिष्ये विवस्वन्तमेवं शरशताचितः ।
उपारमध्वं संग्रामाद्वैराण्युत्सृज्य पार्थिवाः ॥५०॥
50. parikhā khanyatāmatra mamāvasadane nṛpāḥ ,
upāsiṣye vivasvantamevaṁ śaraśatācitaḥ ,
upāramadhvaṁ saṁgrāmādvairāṇyutsṛjya pārthivāḥ.
50. parikhā khanyatām atra mama avasadane
nṛpāḥ upāsiṣye vivasvantam
evam śaraśatācitaḥ upāramadhvam
saṅgrāmāt vairāṇi utsṛjya pārthivāḥ
50. nṛpāḥ atra mama avasadane parikhā
khanyatām śaraśatācitaḥ evam
vivasvantam upāsiṣye pārthivāḥ vairāṇi

50. O kings, let a trench be dug here around my dwelling. Covered with hundreds of arrows, I will thus worship the sun (Vivasaṅvat). O rulers of the earth, give up your hostilities and cease from battle.
