यादृशैः संविवदते यादृशांश्चोपसेवते ।
यादृगिच्छेच्च भवितुं तादृग्भवति पूरुषः ॥१३॥

13. yādṛśaiḥ saṁvivadate yādṛśāṁścopasevate ,
yādṛgicchecca bhavituṁ tādṛgbhavati pūruṣaḥ.

13. A person (puruṣa) becomes like those with whom he converses and whom he serves, and also like what he wishes to become.
