महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-31, verse-61

तस्यात्मजश्च प्रमतिर्वेदवेदाङ्गपारगः ।
घृताच्यां तस्य पुत्रस्तु रुरुर्नामोदपद्यत ॥६१॥
61. tasyātmajaśca pramatirvedavedāṅgapāragaḥ ,
ghṛtācyāṁ tasya putrastu rururnāmodapadyata.
61. tasya ātmajaḥ ca pramatiḥ veda-vedāṅga-pāragaḥ |
ghṛtācyām tasya putraḥ tu ruruḥ nāma udapadyata
61. tasya ca ātmajaḥ pramatiḥ veda-vedāṅga-pāragaḥ
tasya tu ghṛtācyām ruruḥ nāma putraḥ udapadyata
61. And his son was Pramati, well-versed in the Vedas and Vedangas. From Ghritachi, his son named Ruru was born.
