महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-31, verse-23

स त्वाश्रममुपागम्य भरद्वाजस्य धीमतः ।
जगाम शरणं राजा कृताञ्जलिररिंदम ॥२३॥

23. sa tvāśramamupāgamya bharadvājasya dhīmataḥ ,
jagāma śaraṇaṁ rājā kṛtāñjalirariṁdama.

23. Then, having approached the hermitage (āśrama) of the wise Bharadvāja, that king, with folded hands, sought refuge (śaraṇa) there, O subduer of enemies.
