महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-31, verse-35

सरथः स तु संतीर्य गङ्गामाशु पराक्रमी ।
प्रययौ वीतहव्यानां पुरीं परपुरंजयः ॥३५॥
35. sarathaḥ sa tu saṁtīrya gaṅgāmāśu parākramī ,
prayayau vītahavyānāṁ purīṁ parapuraṁjayaḥ.
35. sarathaḥ saḥ tu samtīrya gaṅgām āśu parākramī
prayayau vītahavyānām purīm parapuraṃjayaḥ
35. But that mighty hero, the conqueror of enemy cities, swiftly crossed the Gaṅgā with his chariot and proceeded to the city of the Vītahavyas.
