महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-31, verse-25

शिष्यस्नेहेन भगवन्स मां रक्षितुमर्हसि ।
निःशेषो हि कृतो वंशो मम तैः पापकर्मभिः ॥२५॥
25. śiṣyasnehena bhagavansa māṁ rakṣitumarhasi ,
niḥśeṣo hi kṛto vaṁśo mama taiḥ pāpakarmabhiḥ.

niḥśeṣaḥ hi kṛtaḥ vaṃśaḥ mama taiḥ pāpakarmabhiḥ

25. O venerable one, you ought to protect me out of affection for your disciple. Indeed, my lineage has been utterly destroyed by those evil-doers.
