महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-26, verse-28

श्यामायास्त्वाश्रमं गत्वा उष्य चैवाभिषिच्य च ।
त्रींस्त्रिरात्रान्स संधाय गन्धर्वनगरे वसेत् ॥२८॥
28. śyāmāyāstvāśramaṁ gatvā uṣya caivābhiṣicya ca ,
trīṁstrirātrānsa saṁdhāya gandharvanagare vaset.
28. śyāmāyāḥ tu āśramam gatvā uṣya ca eva abhiṣicya ca
trīn trirātrān saḥ saṃdhāya gandharvanagare vaset

28. Having gone to Śyāmā's hermitage (āśrama), and having stayed and bathed there, he should then observe three periods of three nights (trirātras) and dwell in Gandharvanagara.
