महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-26, verse-11

इन्द्रतोयां समासाद्य गन्धमादनसंनिधौ ।
करतोयां कुरङ्गेषु त्रिरात्रोपोषितो नरः ।
अश्वमेधमवाप्नोति विगाह्य नियतः शुचिः ॥११॥
11. indratoyāṁ samāsādya gandhamādanasaṁnidhau ,
karatoyāṁ kuraṅgeṣu trirātropoṣito naraḥ ,
aśvamedhamavāpnoti vigāhya niyataḥ śuciḥ.
