महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-273, verse-54

भीष्म उवाच ।
ततो विमुच्य देवेन्द्रं ब्रह्महत्या युधिष्ठिर ।
यथानिसृष्टं तं देशमगच्छद्देवशासनात् ॥५४॥
54. bhīṣma uvāca ,
tato vimucya devendraṁ brahmahatyā yudhiṣṭhira ,
yathānisṛṣṭaṁ taṁ deśamagacchaddevaśāsanāt.
54. bhīṣmaḥ uvāca | tataḥ vimucya devendram brahmahatyā
yudhiṣṭhira | yathānisr̥ṣṭam tam deśam agacchat devaśāsanāt
54. bhīṣmaḥ uvāca yudhiṣṭhira,
tataḥ brahmahatyā devendram vimucya,
devaśāsanāt yathānisr̥ṣṭam tam deśam agacchat
54. Bhishma said: "Then, O Yudhishthira, the sin of Brahmin-killing (brahmahatyā), having released the king of gods (Indra), went to that place designated for it, by the command of the gods."
