महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-273, verse-33

भीष्म उवाच ।
इत्युक्तः प्रतिजग्राह तद्वचो हव्यकव्यभुक् ।
पितामहस्य भगवांस्तथा च तदभूत्प्रभो ॥३३॥
33. bhīṣma uvāca ,
ityuktaḥ pratijagrāha tadvaco havyakavyabhuk ,
pitāmahasya bhagavāṁstathā ca tadabhūtprabho.

33. Bhishma said: Thus addressed, the venerable fire god, who consumes offerings to gods and ancestors (havyakavyabhuk), accepted that statement of the Grandfather (Brahmā), and so, O Lord, it came to pass.
