When the granting of boons (varapradānam) by boon-givers (varadaiḥ), and the active seeking of these gifts (varadānām) by boon-seekers (varārthibhiḥ), is practiced for a very long time, then the essential quality (sāratā) of boons (varāṇām) (becomes manifest).
