वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-32, verse-31

ततस्ते रावणामात्यैरमात्याः पार्थिवस्य तु ।
सूदिताश्चापि ते युद्धे भक्षिताश्च बुभुक्षितैः ॥३१॥
31. tataste rāvaṇāmātyairamātyāḥ pārthivasya tu ,
sūditāścāpi te yuddhe bhakṣitāśca bubhukṣitaiḥ.

31. Then, indeed, the ministers of the king (Arjuna) were slain by Rāvaṇa's ministers in battle, and they were even devoured by those hungry ones (Rāvaṇa's demon ministers).
