The lords of the trine houses (5th and 9th), one's own house (1st), and the 2nd, 4th, 8th, and 12th houses from a planet, as well as the lord of its exaltation sign, are considered friends. The lords of the remaining houses are enemies, while others are neutrals possessing characteristics of both.
