बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-3, verse-47

राह्वारपंगुचन्द्रश्च विज्ञेया धातुखेचराः ।
मूलग्रहौ सूर्यशुक्रौ अपरा जीवसंज्ञकाः ॥४७॥
47. rāhvārapaṃgucandraśca vijñeyā dhātukhecarāḥ .
mūlagrahau sūryaśukrau aparā jīvasaṃjñakāḥ.

47. Rahu, Mars, Saturn, and the Moon are to be understood as the celestial bodies (khecara) signifying minerals and metals (dhātu). The Sun and Venus are considered the root-signifying planets (mūla). The remaining planets are designated as those signifying living beings (jīva).
