Similarly, the lords of the year, month, day, and hora (hourly division) are strong. The planets, beginning with Saturn (śani), Mars (maṅgala), Mercury (budha), Jupiter (guru), Venus (śukra), Moon (candra), and Sun (ravi), become successively more powerful in that increasing order.
