मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-2, verse-56

इति शुक्रवचः सत्यं कृतमेभिः खगोत्तमैः ।
ये युद्धेऽपि न सम्प्राप्ताः पञ्चत्वमतिमानुषे ॥५६॥
56. iti śukravacaḥ satyaṃ kṛtamebhiḥ khagottamaiḥ .
ye yuddhe'pi na samprāptāḥ pañcatvamatimānuṣe.
56. iti śukravacaḥ satyam kṛtam ebhiḥ khagottamaiḥ
ye yuddhe api na samprāptāḥ pañcatvam atimānuṣe
56. Thus, the words of Shukra have been fulfilled by these excellent birds, who did not meet death (pañcatvam) even in the superhuman battle.
