विदित्वैवं न सन्त्रासः कर्तव्यो विनिवर्तते ।
ततो निवृत्तास्ते दैत्यास्त्यक्त्वा मरणजं भयम् ॥५५॥

tato nivṛttāste daityāstyaktvā maraṇajaṃ bhayam.

Having known this, great fear (santrāsa) should not be felt; it (fear) ceases. Therefore, those Daityas abandoned the fear born of death and turned away.
