मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-2, verse-48

न गन्तव्यं निवर्तध्वं कस्माद् व्रजथ कातराः ।
उत्सृज्य शौर्ययशसी क्व गता न मरिष्यथ ॥४८॥
48. na gantavyaṃ nivartadhvaṃ kasmād vrajatha kātarāḥ .
utsṛjya śauryayaśasī kva gatā na mariṣyatha.

utsṛjya śauryayaśasī kva gatā na mariṣyatha
48. You must not go; turn back! Why do you, cowards, flee? After abandoning your valor and fame, where will you go that you will not die?
