तस्यां स जनयामास तार्क्षों नाम सुतां तदा ।
मुनिशापाग्निविप्लुष्टां वपुमप्सरसां वराम् ।
तस्या नाम तदा चक्रे तार्क्षोमिति विहङ्गमः ॥३१॥

31. tasyāṃ sa janayāmāsa tārkṣoṃ nāma sutāṃ tadā .
muniśāpāgnivipluṣṭāṃ vapumapsarasāṃ varām .
tasyā nāma tadā cakre tārkṣomiti vihaṅgamaḥ.
muniśāpāgnivipluṣṭāṃ vapumapsarasāṃ varām .
tasyā nāma tadā cakre tārkṣomiti vihaṅgamaḥ.

tasyām sa janayāmāsa tārkṣīm nāma
sutām tadā muniśāpāgnivipluṣṭām
vapuḥ apsarasām varām tasyāḥ nāma
tadā cakre tārkṣī iti vihaṅgamaḥ
sutām tadā muniśāpāgnivipluṣṭām
vapuḥ apsarasām varām tasyāḥ nāma
tadā cakre tārkṣī iti vihaṅgamaḥ
31.
Then, he begot in her a daughter named Tārkṣī, who was, in form, the best among Apsaras but had been afflicted by the fire of a sage's curse. The bird (Garuda) then named her Tārkṣī.
