मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-2, verse-43

घष्टागतानि तिष्ठन्ति यत्राण्डानि द्विजोत्तम ।
आजगाम तमुद्देशं शमीको नाम संयमी ॥४३॥
43. ghaṣṭāgatāni tiṣṭhanti yatrāṇḍāni dvijottama .
ājagāma tamuddeśaṃ śamīko nāma saṃyamī.
43. ghaṣṭāgatāni tiṣṭhanti yatra aṇḍāni dvijottama
ājagāma tam uddeśam śamīkaḥ nāma saṃyamī
43. O best of the twice-born (dvijottama), to that place where eggs lay assembled, Śamīka, a self-controlled ascetic (saṃyamī) by name, arrived.
