मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-2, verse-33

तेषां जघन्यो धर्मात्मा वेदवेदाङ्गपारगः ।
उपयेमे स तां तार्क्षों कन्धरानुमते शुभाम् ॥३३॥
33. teṣāṃ jaghanyo dharmātmā vedavedāṅgapāragaḥ .

33. Of those sons, the youngest, a righteous soul (dharmātmā) and one who had mastered the Vedas and their auxiliary branches (Vedangas), married that beautiful Tārkṣī, with the permission of Kandhara.
