महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-9, verse-47

तस्य तेन शिरः कायाज्जहार नृपसत्तम ।
पश्यतां सर्वसैन्यानां तदद्भुतमिवाभवत् ॥४७॥
47. tasya tena śiraḥ kāyājjahāra nṛpasattama ,
paśyatāṁ sarvasainyānāṁ tadadbhutamivābhavat.

paśyatām sarvasainyānām tat adbhutam iva abhavat
47. nṛpasattama tena tasya śiraḥ kāyāt jahāra
paśyatām sarvasainyānām tat adbhutam iva abhavat
47. O best of kings, with that weapon he severed his (Karna's son's) head from his body. This event appeared as a marvel to all the armies watching.
