महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-9, verse-46

ततो गृहीत्वा तीक्ष्णाग्रमर्धचन्द्रं सुतेजनम् ।
स वेगयुक्तं चिक्षेप कर्णपुत्रस्य संयुगे ॥४६॥
46. tato gṛhītvā tīkṣṇāgramardhacandraṁ sutejanam ,
sa vegayuktaṁ cikṣepa karṇaputrasya saṁyuge.
