महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-9, verse-12

चित्रसेनस्तु भल्लेन पीतेन निशितेन च ।
नकुलस्य महाराज मुष्टिदेशेऽच्छिनद्धनुः ॥१२॥
12. citrasenastu bhallena pītena niśitena ca ,
nakulasya mahārāja muṣṭideśe'cchinaddhanuḥ.
12. citrasenaḥ tu bhallena pītena niśitena ca
nakulasya mahārāja muṣṭideśe acchinat dhanuḥ
12. mahārāja,
citrasenaḥ tu pītena niśitena ca bhallena nakulasya muṣṭideśe dhanuḥ acchinat
12. But Citrasena, O great king, with a sharp, whetted missile (bhallena), cut Nakula's bow at the hand-grip.
