महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-68, verse-45

शरैश्च शतशो विद्धास्ते संघाः संघचारिणः ।
प्राद्रवन्त रणे भीता गिरिगह्वरवासिनः ॥४५॥
45. śaraiśca śataśo viddhāste saṁghāḥ saṁghacāriṇaḥ ,
prādravanta raṇe bhītā girigahvaravāsinaḥ.
45. śaraiḥ ca śataśaḥ viddhāḥ te saṅghāḥ saṅgha-cāriṇaḥ
prādravanta raṇe bhītāḥ giri-gahvara-vāsinaḥ

45. And those hordes, moving in groups, struck by hundreds of arrows, became terrified in battle and fled to their mountain cave dwellings.
