महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-68, verse-44

अभ्रच्छायामिव शरैः सैन्ये कृत्वा धनंजयः ।
मुण्डार्धमुण्डजटिलानशुचीञ्जटिलाननान् ।
म्लेच्छानशातयत्सर्वान्समेतानस्त्रमायया ॥४४॥

44. Arjuna (dhanañjaya) made the enemy army appear like a cloud's shadow with his arrows. He then, by the illusion of his weapons (astra-māyā), destroyed all the assembled barbarians (mlecchas) who were bald, half-bald, matted-haired, impure, and had matted faces.
