चुक्रुशुश्च निपेतुश्च बभ्रमुश्चापरे दिशः ।

40. They cried out and fell down, while others scattered in various directions. The elephants, enraged and resembling sharp poison, with their armed riders, were greatly terrified and died in various ways due to their own roars.
