महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-158, verse-55

न चागाद्द्वैरथं जिष्णुर्दिष्ट्या तं भरतर्षभ ।
सृजेतां स्पर्धिनावेतौ दिव्यान्यस्त्राणि सर्वशः ॥५५॥
55. na cāgāddvairathaṁ jiṣṇurdiṣṭyā taṁ bharatarṣabha ,
sṛjetāṁ spardhināvetau divyānyastrāṇi sarvaśaḥ.
55. na ca agāt dvairatham jiṣṇuḥ diṣṭyā tam bharatarṣabha
sṛjetām spardhinau etau divyāni astrāṇi sarvaśaḥ
55. ca diṣṭyā bharatarṣabha jiṣṇuḥ tam dvairatham na agāt
etau spardhinau sarvaśaḥ divyāni astrāṇi sṛjetām
55. And fortunately, O best of Bharatas, the victorious Arjuna did not engage him (Karna) in a chariot duel. (For if they had,) these two rivals would unleash all their divine weapons everywhere.
