महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-158, verse-45

एतौ मूलं हि दुःखानामस्माकं पुरुषर्षभ ।
एतौ रणे समासाद्य पराश्वस्तः सुयोधनः ॥४५॥
45. etau mūlaṁ hi duḥkhānāmasmākaṁ puruṣarṣabha ,
etau raṇe samāsādya parāśvastaḥ suyodhanaḥ.

etau raṇe samāsādya parāśvastaḥ suyodhanaḥ
45. puruṣarṣabha etau hi asmākaṃ duḥkhānām mūlaṃ

45. O best among men, these two (Droṇa and Karṇa) are certainly the root of our sufferings. Relying on these two in battle, Suyodhana (Duryodhana) feels completely reassured.
