महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-158, verse-53

तं दृष्ट्वा सहसा यान्तं सूतपुत्रजिघांसया ।
शोकोपहतसंकल्पं दह्यमानमिवाग्निना ।
अभिगम्याब्रवीद्व्यासो धर्मपुत्रं युधिष्ठिरम् ॥५३॥
53. taṁ dṛṣṭvā sahasā yāntaṁ sūtaputrajighāṁsayā ,
śokopahatasaṁkalpaṁ dahyamānamivāgninā ,
abhigamyābravīdvyāso dharmaputraṁ yudhiṣṭhiram.

53. Having suddenly seen him (Yudhiṣṭhira) going forth with the intent to kill the son of Sūta (Karṇa), his resolve shattered by sorrow, as if he were being consumed by fire, Vyāsa approached and spoke to Dharmaputra (Yudhiṣṭhira).
