महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-158, verse-47

अवश्यं तु मया कार्यः सूतपुत्रस्य निग्रहः ।
ततो यास्याम्यहं वीर स्वयं कर्णजिघांसया ।
भीमसेनो महाबाहुर्द्रोणानीकेन संगतः ॥४७॥
47. avaśyaṁ tu mayā kāryaḥ sūtaputrasya nigrahaḥ ,
tato yāsyāmyahaṁ vīra svayaṁ karṇajighāṁsayā ,
bhīmaseno mahābāhurdroṇānīkena saṁgataḥ.

nigrahaḥ tataḥ yāsyāmi aham vīra
svayam karṇajighāṃsayā bhīmasenaḥ
mahābāhuḥ droṇānīkena saṃgataḥ

47. However, I must certainly undertake the capture of Sūtaputra (Karṇa). Therefore, O hero, I myself will go with the intent to kill Karṇa. The mighty-armed Bhīmasena is engaged with Droṇa's army.
