महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-154, verse-63

ततः कर्णः कुरुभिः पूज्यमानो यथा शक्रो वृत्रवधे मरुद्भिः ।
अन्वारूढस्तव पुत्रं रथस्थं हृष्टश्चापि प्राविशत्स्वं स सैन्यम् ॥६३॥
63. tataḥ karṇaḥ kurubhiḥ pūjyamāno; yathā śakro vṛtravadhe marudbhiḥ ,
anvārūḍhastava putraṁ rathasthaṁ; hṛṣṭaścāpi prāviśatsvaṁ sa sainyam.

63. Then Karṇa, being honored by the Kurus just as Indra (Śakra) was honored by the Maruts after slaying Vṛtra, delightedly mounted with your son (Duryodhana) who was in a chariot, and thus entered his own army.
